For sleeping rooms check in time is 3:00 PM, check out time is 10:00 AM. Please return room keys to the Front Desk immediately after checking out of your room.
All meals are served buffet style in the dining room. Tables are set with silverware, ice glasses and iced tea; unsweetened tea, ice water and coffee are self-served. Meal times are as follows: Breakfast at 8:00 AM, Lunch at 12:00 noon and Dinner at 6:00 PM. Soft drinks and snack machines are located in the Lodge. Soft drinks are also available in the Youth Building. Ice is available in the Lodge.
All buildings are locked between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. After hours SECURITY can be reached at 336-342-1377. A SECURITY/EMERGENCY phone is located in the Main Entrance of the Lodge. ( If we are able to accomplish "The Summit Take-Over," some of these rules could easily be relaxed!) Help us reach our goal to take over The Summit in 2004!
There are no phones or TV's in the sleeping rooms. A pay phone is located at the Youth Meeting Building. A House Phone is located in the Lodge and a House Phone and TV are located in Cottage Conference Room 100. Phone messages taken during conferences will be posted on the bulletin board in the Lodge, if it is an emergency the message will be delivered immediately.
Rowboats and canoes are located at the lake. Life jackets must be worn when using rowboats or canoes. Tennis courts and an athletic field, volleyball net and horseshoe pit are located near the gym. Stone lined campfire pits are located near the lakeside pavilion and the athletic field.
FAX'S & COPIES
Fax and copy services are available. Fax service is $1.00 per page and copies are 10 cents per page. Please ask the Front Desk Attendant for assistance.
Due to Health Department regulations no pets are allowed.
Our facility is smoke free. Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Please use utmost caution to protect our natural environment and exercise proper disposal of refuse to keep our facility clean.
The Summit is licensed only to permit alcohol. Law prohibits us from purchasing, serving or selling alcoholic beverages. Any alcoholic beverages brought onto the premises must be contained to the immediate area assigned to your group.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE IS A NO REFUND POLICY. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND, PLEASE PLAN TO SPONSOR ANOTHER PERSON OR YOU MAY SELL YOUR RESERVATION TO SOMEONE ELSE. RESERVATIONS ARE TRANSFERABLE.
